Can anyone recommend a good website to buy wholesale wedding dresses? Are they safe? Quality? ETC Help!!!?

I found a few sites as well as ebay that sell wedding dresses at ridiculously cheap prices so being that Ive never heard of this trend I am wondering are these sites any good or will they take my money and run? Anyone ever bought a dress from a wholesale site? Its hard to ask them questions since most are in China and when they respond I don't understand what they are trying to say. Anything helps. Thanks!

Hi Camelia,

You are right to be nervous when shopping for a wedding dress online.  There are a few ways that you can protect yourself though...

- make sure that you can get in contact with the company.  Their contact us page should have a telephone number, email address and a snail mail address so that you know where the company is located.  If therey are trying to hide where to are, run the other way.

- check to see how long they have been in business, if it is a young company, they might not be as "stable" as a company that has been around 20 years or more.

- always check their return policy to see what they offer.  Some have a large restocking fee (50% or more) that will make it virtually worthless to return the garment.

- ask if the dresses are original designers dresses or knock-offs.

Check Wedding Dress Supplier Reviews to see if your potential supplier has a good review or not. Be careful out there!

And their quality is very good ! You say you don't understand what them to say, maybe their ways to solve questions is different from yours, I think you can try more times to contact with them !

  1. Take your correct measurements so you do not need to pay for expensive alterations later.
  2. Set a budget.
  3. Spend a lot of time looking at dresses.
  4. Read the buying details carefully.
  5. Get pictures of the dress from several angles.

Beside eBay, check out bridal forums, bridal shows and bridal magazines where you can view many dresses before you make your final decision.
