The broker or agent can get you to sign an agreement to buy or sell property at a future date for an ascertained sum....If you are buying then nothing only money they want. If selling authorization

Yes, both of them can start their firm together, but they must disclose it in writing to all customers using both services, and you cannot require the customers to use the lawyer’s service on any purchase or vice versa. The lawyer would be the silent colleague or can work in a capacity that doesn't interfere with contracts. The broker can get you to sign an agreement to buy or sell property with the help of their lawyers i.e. this agreement will show proof of taking their services which will be helpful for you in future.
