Keep close to Nature's heart... climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.* Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Quadrilateral is a geometrical term for any 4-sided figure; a parallelogram is thus a particular type of the former.  A polygon is any figure having 3 or more sides whether or not equal, therefore including triangles and quadrilateral figures.  Some terms are merely broader than others, e.g., geometry is a particular branch of mathematics.  As in common language,  broader terms are only occassionally necessary; we say vehicles when we mean to include more than just cars.  I responded because I appreciate your interest.
