Yes, that is a correct English word and would be acceptable in Scrabble.  It rains day and night during monsoon season.

According to Dictionary.com rains is an acceptable word:  rains, the rainy season; seasonal rainfall, as in India

Yes it is.  When it rains it pours.  Acceptable in the dictionary.  Why do you ask such a simple question?  Have fun, scrabble is one of my favorite games to play.
