Raccoons have a language of 60-120 different sounds (depending on which expert you ask). Either way, that is a LOT of sounds! Breeding is typically around January but in warmer climates can be anytime of year, and they can be screamers. Young ones playing can make quite a ruckous too. Too bad you can't often see them playing because it's a lot cuter than it sounds!

Never met an aggressive wild animal, only a scared one.
