Discuss Nita's answer to: Quilting

What is a quilt guild ?

A quilting guild is a much more "formal" group than a simple quilting club or bee.  A guild has its own bylaws, elected officers, finances (dues), and membership in the National Quilting Association.  There are monthly newsletters, meetings and ongoing community service projects. The meetings may include guest speakers and demonstrations.

(Our local guild promotes the love of quilting and the passing on of that art form.  Member skill level ranges from novice to very accomplished.  It's inspiring to be with others who also enjoy quilting.)

Anything you don't normally do in your work day is "Adult Play" at home... For me, it's mowing lawn.
