Untill I rebooted , because screen froze, I had Windows Live Messenger. Now it has disappeared. Why?

See if you have it in the add/remove programs and in the start menu.

just like to say thanks for the help when i went to download.com to download live messenger my pc would not have it i went to the above site and it downloaded straight away thanks for that a happy person..and i will use microsoft downloads next time...

I can only tell you i found it impossible to install WLM,kept getting errors 1603 and 2203. Then although Prevx anti-everything hadn't flagged any issues i shut it down and it installed perfectly. Worth trying these things first anyway.
