Look up a site called Duotrope. It's a site that lists the various magazines. Their weekly email lists new markets, closed markets, pay and non pay, etc. I use it myself.

Having said that, good freakin luck. I'm a professional, and I am increasingly frustrated by the multitude of magazines that limit their lengths to 5000 words or thereabouts. I don't write much that's that short.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
