Oh, faithful2God, I hope you have begun counseling and that it has helped by now. I am afraid for you and your baby and would like to know you're okay. If a big strong man "can't help it," then how can you be safe? Running away is definitely the only way for a woman to protect herself and her baby if there's even the most remote and miniscule chance that her husband's rage could get out of control. This is the only thing that will shake him hard enough for him to get help - for himself. A woman can certainly support her guy and help him as much as she can, but she can't "change him," he has to do it himself with professional help and her help from afar. And what exactly does "love to death" mean? Think about that for a minute. Love is not supposed to hurt!
