Maybe she just doesn't like to clean. After all, there are LOTS of more fun things to do with your time.

Sometimes we put up walls not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.

Depends on whether you mean mess an in unclean, or if you mean clutter. Some of us like clutter, It is a sign of a creative mind. We just like what we like and for us that's a rich environment. It doesn't mean lazy or unorganized, it just means we live the way we like.
