Hello! My name is Nick and I'm 19 years old. I really hope you will help me and I?m asking you, please help! That kind of problem I have is probably pretty usual, but it doesn't do my life easier. In ...
Njoy has the right idea.
I understand what you mean your whole life has been a theatre. My daughter went through a spell herself for awhile...but I knew she would grow out of it.
She told me once..."Mom, I don't know who I am."
This is what I told her.
YOU are the same person you are when you are with me. When you talk to other people...talk to them like you are talking to me. Anything you would say to me...you can say to them. Just BE who you are when you are with me...because that IS WHO YOU ARE.
Don't even TRY to be cool, Nick. People KNOW when you are acting. Just be your random self and laugh AT yourself...and they will laugh WITH you!
That is where your real encore comes in...
Best Wishes,
Faye
PS...a little update on my daughter. She had a newspaper column this summer as an intern reporter of our local newspaper and for her first REAL acting part on a REAL stage in her first highschool play "Alice in Wonderland"...she played the Queen of Hearts.
On the stage of real life...she plays her natural goofy self...and she is loved by all.
Oh yeah...I think one thing that helped her also...is she took a lot of pictures of herself...the way she wanted to be viewed by others. If I might say so myself...she took quite a few good modeling pictures. She actually portrayed herself AS a model...and it did wonders for her self esteem. Her picture is on my profile under...The Reason I LIVE.
Good Luck, Nick.
Thank you Faye!
That was a very good advice to your daughter and to everyone with that kind of problem! You have a charming daughter! Congratulations to her!
You are most welcome, Sir.
Love the man in the mirror...he deserves it.
Sincerely,
