I suspect these are more recent than the revolutionary war. My guess is the 20s or 30s, when Spiritualism was a hugely popular belief of the time, and there were many Spiritualist groups. In Spiritualism as it is today, The Atrium is all over the place. Google The Atrium + Spiritualism.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
