Why is it not a crime for a protestor to throw a molitof cocktail,but if I did it ,it would be attempted murder ????

I don't know what state, your writing from, if you were in massachusetts you would be charged with, 1 making an infernal machine (molotove cocktail) and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon to wit a molotove cocktail, depending what all the facts bring out, you could be charged with attempted

Murder, there could be more crimes associated with molotove cocktails, it will be determined , of the assault by all of the facts, this answer is based on massachusetts law, other states may be completely different.

First of all, you in incorrect in your question. It is a crime for a prtestor to throw a molitof cocktail in every state in the US and in every country I know of. The reason they get away with it is they are mostly cowards and run or hid orseek cover of a crowd or night so as not to get caught. It's arson, assault, murder, destruction of property, or attempt of any of those to mention a few laws.
