In my case, I get my news mostly from Japan. Sometimes Great Britain. Every now and then, Hong Kong or Singapore. I really hate the way American news sources insist on injecting the news with their own political agendas. I want the facts. Not opinions, Not editorializing. Not gossiping. When I watch or read a news story, I should NOT be able to discern whether the reporter is a Democrat or a Republican. Just give me the verifiable facts and let me make up my own mind.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

There are many pros like you can read any newspaper which is not even available in your geographical area. It is a good idea to keep yourself updated with news from around the globe. As for traditional news paper you can only able to read which are available in your area. You have just limited number of choices with traditional newspapers.

I don't even have a library card anymore.

If it wasn't for internet - I would have never learned to write.
