Discuss CeltycMoon's answer to: What products are available to assist Living with COPD, asthsma, allergies, lung cancer, etc

What products are available for living with respiratory diseases and oxygen?

There are many, many items for you to treat lung problems at home for quite awhile.  There are your emergency inhalers, your other inhalers, and also pills.  First COPD can be emphysema and/or upper bronchitis infection.  Me, I have both.  You can have a nebulizer, a little machine you hope works great that pumps out a special tube ofr medication (some call this a peace pipe)!  If you are4 on oxygen therapy you have a concentrator for home and tubes and carrier for portable.  I have B (baby) tubes and I put it around my neck.  If you get a pulse regulator, your oxygen can last a little bit longer as it works only upon your taking a breath.  Some use liquid oxygen.  Note: if you have the electric concentrator, you also qualify to get a letter from your specialist for your utility company so loss of power is at a minimum>  I have many inhalers and medicines.  I can also tell you that perhaps you may also need a Bipap or Cpap machine.  or/and raise head of your bed.  Yes, the wheezing often does sound horrible, as does coughing up blood.  I'm also going to tell you that if you ever end up on a ventilator, you can come off!  Yes, it is often sad, but there is a lot of meds too, including mucinex.  BEV
