Problems with AIM freezing?

I've had problems recently with AIM freezing. Every time I try to message someone it freezes up for a few seconds, and at first I was trying to ignore it but it has gotten progressively more annoying. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it with no difference. I know it isn't my connection because it works just fine on my desktop computer downstairs, I can't seem to find a way to fix this. Any help would be awesome, thanks. <3

uninstall and then reinstall, most likely you have a corrupted link

AIM Mobile confirmaiton codes problem

No, they're codes AIM sends out the code as a text to verify you're the one who owns the phone by making you repeat the code back at the website. But their verification code didn't work and now it won't send another.
