Is probating a will bereavement?

Bereavement leave is generally for a wake or funeral but not for legal and financial arrangements.  Those are personal business.

The question makes no sense at all.

Bereavement is a time period the family of the deceased experiences. It's a sad and lonely state.

Probate is a term that is used in several different ways. Probate can refer to the act of presenting a will to a court officer for filing — such as, to "probate" a will. But in a more general sense, probate refers to the method by which your estate is administered and processed through the legal system after you die.

The probate process helps you transfer your estate in an orderly and supervised manner. Your estate must be dispersed in a certain manner (your debts and taxes paid before your beneficiaries receive their inheritance, for example). Many people think that probate applies to you only if you have a will. Wrong! Your estate will be probated whether or not you have a will.

Bereavement is a deep sense of loss, loneliness, and deep inner pain.  It is one of the trials of life that we must pass in order to become what we came here to become.  Grieving for the loss of a loved one never becomes any easier.

It is easier on us that we take it in stride and continue doing as we should.  The bereaved have solace in their friends. 

We must accept each other as friends, even if others have some tendencies that we find personally disagreeable.  To be harsh and judgmental against others is of course to sit in judgment in God's place, hence is a sin that God will not view kindly.

Friends are the insurance policy against loneliness, and the premiums we pay are that we make accommodation to get along with them, faults and all.
