President Obama - Don't come to Israel !

O is anti-Israel. The question is why? I have my own thoughts on this.

I would love to read your thoughts.  Please elaborate. 

I don't blame you for not wanting him there OronD.  Many of us don't want him here either.  Maybe he can go on a one way extended stay to the Arab Nations. That would certainly suit many of us here in the USA.  

Imagine how many of us feel having to endure knowing that he is the president of our nation.

Hello OronD!  I've never been know for being politically correct either. 

During the administration of George H.W. Bush, probably the most anti-Israel American presidency prior to this one, Secretary of State James Baker once commented on whether his anti-Israel stance will hurt the Jewish vote for Bush’s reelection campaign. His famous response was, “F*** the Jews, they won’t vote for us any way.” Today the administration of Barack Obama has a similar attitude, “F*** the Jews, they will vote for us whatever we do!”

Sadly they are probably right. Jewish money still pours into Democratic Party coffers even though the President from their party is the most anti-Israel in history, and the legislators are two cowardly to confront him in public. Hopefully when it comes time to vote in 2012, American Jews will wake up and smell the hummus. If this administration is this anti-Israel in the middle of a re-election campaign, I shudder to think what will happen during a second, lame duck campaign when he no longer needs any Jewish support.

On Monday, Glenn addressed the Knesset, the legislative branch of Israel. Glenn was introduced by Knesset member Danny Danon of the Likud party, who welcomed Glenn saying, “(I am) glad to host a friend of the State of Israel… Usually we don’t clap here in the Knesset, but maybe we can do that at the end.”

The Jerusalem Post reports:

 

Beck discussed how the shocking reality of Israeli everyday life, under constant threat of terrorism, does not prevent the public from living their lives comfortably and casually.

 

In his classic simplified yet brazen style, the pundit explained “the few things I actually know” about Israel:

 

1) The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is about destruction of Israel and the west.

 

2) Anti-semitism is going to go through the roof. When these conditions appear, it’s always the Jews fault. It’s not about the holocaust, (that’s) just the latest in a string of events thousands of years. Holocaust is just the one they made a movie about. It was the same way all the time.

 

3) The world is about to change, so think differently. Everything you thought you can count on, forget about it, (and) create new systems.

 

4) The truth shall set you free.

 

Beck then explained that his plan for Israel advocacy is based on communal outreach. “If you go to a synagogue, reach out to a church. If you go to a church, reach out to a JCC. Say, will you watch this with me? After that we’ll talk and eat and get to know one another.”

 

 

Anonymous,  It is well known that the Palestinians want to push Israel into the sea. It has been spoken and written publicly for years. How can you not know this?  And if you do know it then how can you say "the world would be a safer place" if we all agreed and looked at it from their point of view.  Their point of view is to push Israel into the sea. Do you understand?
