unless you are a high risk preg... it's perfectly safe to have sex thru your entire preg... your doc should let you know... you may even feel an increase in your libido

http://www.womenshealthcaretopics.com/pregnancyandintimacy.htm check out the link above and good luck:))

It is what it is:)

i agree with gemini. both my pregnancies i had an increased sex drive, and had sex through the entire pregnancy. both times i had sex the day before delivery.

some people can not. so as gemini said, your doctor should let you know if you can not.

~ simply improper~

Sex during pregnancy is perfectly fine with the exception being you having preterm labor, or ruptured membranes (water breaking).  During preterm labor, there is a chemical in semen that could cause contractions of the uterus...thus putting you at risk for preterm delivery.  At the time your water (membranes) rupture, sex can possibly cause infection.  Your doctor will inform you if sex is not recommended during pregnancy.

"Most people are like slinkies. Pretty much useless. They still manage to put a smile on your face when pushed down a flight of stairs."

Sex is good ANYTIME unless the ob-gyn tells you different.  Besides talking to your doctor you can read about topics like this in books such as: what to expect when your expecting.  I didn't have a problem with sex during either of my 3 pregnancies.  Find out the warning signs from your Dr. about the pre-term labor & anything else you should watch for.

first 12 weeks it is a health risk

call me whatever you want, ill call it jealous. darling your shits weak

Sex is definately ok during pregnancy. take advantage of it, your already pregnant an now periods,an actually towards the end of your pregnancy if you have sex it could help you go into labor

Some angelic advice on this.

Can sexual relations harm the baby during pregnancy?

Babies are conceived so that they can be received into the world, your world of happiness, love, and peace. You should take care not to harm the baby during any stage of pregnancy. Be considerate of your baby’s needs as well as your own.

To force a round blunt object into a square hole makes little sense. You can be gentle but do not force objects into the wall of the womb. Think of other ways to satisfy your mate, whether man or woman. Be creative in your seductive charm. Ecstasy awaits you.

Be kind to your “unborn child,” there is much he or she has to learn. As the baby grows inside you (the woman), you also grow. I speak in terms of physical, mental, and spiritual growth. You have much to learn about childbirth and childhood. Your baby and subsequent child will teach you.

Sexual relations are necessary for a healthy relationship. However, relationships built on sex alone are doomed to fail. For there must be an exchange of the mind and spirit also. There must be a balance of the mind, body, and spirit. Do you see how the body lies midway between the mind and spirit. Think about this.

When engaging in sexual relations during pregnancy, be careful not to harm the uterus. Remember to bathe yourself and your baby in pure white light. From the light he/she shall return. Be sure it is by their choice, not yours.

Caution is the key word. Be cautious and you’ll have nothing to worry about. Surround yourself and your baby in white light as you enjoy the moments of ecstasy. Share your concerns with your partner and be creative. You’ll be surprised what comes of it.

May love and peace surround you and your baby. Affirm a healthy and positive pregnancy and sexual relations. Relax and enjoy. Let the stars burst before you in an ever-glowing light. (Shamani) Answers From Above
