Pound Cake With Fewer Eggs

My family loves lemon pound cake, but our daughter was recently diagnosed with an allergy to eggs. Does anyone know of a pound cake recipe that calls for fewer eggs or of something that can be substituted for at least part of the eggs?

Pound cake by definition has lots of egg in it. My suggestion is that you just make a regular cake, lemon flavored.

Ener-G egg replace works well for leaving and applesauce or buttermilk work well for moisture. I have never made a lemon cake without eggs but I have a great recipe for a chocolate cake.
