i have a large wide sorta heavy ceramic cup/mug that say's olen takaha and maybe sh, takahash? with san fransisco hand painted on the bottom.  does anyone know anything about this pottery?  i can't find anything anywhere.  thankyou, stephanie

Have you tried taking the mug to an antique shop? Maybe someone there can help?
