What makes a young child have the ability to figure something out that is foreign to him/her ? The child cannot read the manual ..yet the adult even after reading is still struggeling to understand ...

Lol kjforce -- did that happen to you? I think that it's an intuitive ability to understand some things, which many people are born with. Young children use logic based on their own (limited) experience and knowledge. It's uncluttered by "rules" or previous disappointments or doubts. There's also a belief that anything "wondrous" can happen -- and sometimes it does!
