I don't wish to be argumentative ,but I disagree with the Islamic belief that I should be killed! " If radical atheists decided they needed to kill believers to ensure their place in nothingness, I'd be criticizing that too."

I was in VAMC San Diego then.
Abbie Hoffman organized protest.
Hoped to provoke killings of hs own.
Generate a few leftist "martyrs."

 

Rioters in T. Square,
Protested what Hoffman demanded.
Harsh leftist/atheist gov't.
They wanted to live free or die quick.

 

Can't say I blame them.
I was drafted for Vietnam.
Hated the thought, thought
I might flee to Canada.

 

Then I thought it over.
This is my homeland.
Fighting is gruesome.
But well worth the price.

 

In combat in VN,
Charles overran our pos.
Bunch of them grabbed me.
Wired to an ant hill, then questioned.

 

I didn't know anything.
They grabbed the wires, put 50 KG blocks
On wires to my hands.
Wires to an I-beam, dropped down a well. 

 

Hung there four days,
Then the Green Berets found me.

Still living in high style.

 

All things considered,
I'd do it agan.
