So, "yesterday" you "were" a Birtish Soldier, bit the head off of a chicken, and kicked its dying body around?  There are more humane slaughter techniques, required under the Animal Humane Law.  Such an admission that you were in violation of our Animal Humane Law is unacceptable at best.  British Animal Humane Law is modeled after USDA regulations for the humane slaughter of animals.

First. A few facts. 65 detainees who were released from Gitmo (for whatever reason) have been killed or recaptured on the battlefields in Iraq or Afghanistan. These are ALL Taliban and Al Queda fighters captured on a BATTLEFIELD! Not sheepherders  and fallafa salesmen!

These are people who kill civilian contractors and burn the bodies before they hang them from a bridge! These are people who hack the heads off people on videos as they gurgle their last breaths as their spinal cords are hacked through! Go to youtube and get a face full! And you are concerned about the treatment these animals receive?

I will guarantee you no one had their heads hacked off at Gitmo!

But, I will also make you another guarantee. Now that these people are out of Gitmo get ready for a very hot summer in England! We have Obama, you have Brown. The polar opposites of Blair and Bush, and the terrorists know it!

It is truly unfortunate that Lmarie is into "snuff" videos.  Only a certain kind of "person" is interested in watching grisly and painful death.  So, she finally comes out to say that the soldier was in a survival situation and slaughtering the chicken was part of his training. 

Let's see how Lmarie would like living on a farm.  She eats hamburgers but is afraid to slaughter cattle.  She eats chicken but is too squeamish to slaughter the bird.  She eats fish but is so cowardly that she cannot bait the hook.

Leftist liabilities will always be the first dumped in a national crisis.  But the sad fact is that those liabilities will have precipitated that crisis.  Those crises include war.  That is a benefit we owe to Saddam Hussein -- a leftist liberal just like Lmarie.  The next war will be her fault -- or someone just like her.

Wars cause bloodshed, Lmarie.  When you start a war, you must be ready for it.  And I, for one, am sick and tired of your wanton hypocrisy.

That is what Lmarie deserves for being so hysterical and prissy.

No wonder she was completely discredited.

We often hear of the many reasons for closing the prison at Guantánamo Bay: it has served as a recruiting tool for our enemies and rallying cry for our adversaries; it has harmed our ability to be a respected global leader; it has impaired cooperation with key allies in the fight against terrorism; and it has created tension in our relations with traditional allies. All of these are true, and it is necessary to close Guantánamo to improve America’s position in each of these areas. But the most compelling reason is that in a country literally founded on an unwavering respect for the rule of law and a rejection of arbitrary executive detention, closing Guantánamo is plainly the right thing to do.
