I have an all in one shower faucet where you turn the handle between hot and cold to get the right temperature. Today I had to set it all the way on hot, yet the water was just warm. The water from the sink was very hot. How can I fix this?

depending on the brand of faucet, there is a adjustment under the handle that allows the handle to turn further to the hot side, it is called a limit. it could also be pipe insulation, but the water would eventually get as hot as the sink.with the above mentioned limit, it is a safety feature called a scauld gaurd, in the colder months you have to readjust for colder water temperature of the main.

Do your hot water pipes for the shower run near an outside wall or through a cold area of the house? If you have access to the pipes you may want to insulate the pipes. On the other hand you could have a bad mixer valve and would need to replace it.

Yeah, believe it. I'm only human.

Find the papers that came with the faucet. There should be a drawing of your faucet with explanations of parts and features. Make sure the Limit Stop is not set too low. see if there is a troubleshooting guide. Check with the manufacturer, either on thier website or call them and ask for technical assistance.
