Board games are the most fun games in my opinion.

I remember ; Sorry,Chutes and Ladders,Chinese Checkers,Clue,
I remember a game ,not a board game, called Cooties
Scrabble is one of my favorite games ever. I play it whenever I get together with my family. I also love jigsaw puzzles.
Oh yes, I'm with Skitch on the Scrabble, I do love that game. Alas I rarely find time to partake in board games much. When I have the time I really don't have anyone else who'd like to play. Of course we used to play them at family gatherings, but nowadays I really don't want anyone to get stabbed over whether or not "Yonder" is in the scrabble dictionary.
My sister does challenge me to checkers every now and again though. I almost win sometimes.
Monopoly and Scrabble, mostly. My kids and I played board games quite often. My son and I liked Scrabble, but that's not one of my daughter's favorites so the three of us often played Scrutineyes, Jenga or Arch Rival.
I bought Bananagrams for my son several years ago (before it was well known); I enjoyed it very much.
Lately, the board games we play are geared more towards my grandson (age 3), so we're playing Candyland and Uncle Wiggly. He's not quite ready for Scrabble ~ give him another year or two!
