Planting Orange Tree?

I was wondering if I could plant an orange tree in Ohio. Is climate appropriate or would I just waste my time with such endeavor?

I don't think you can plant an orange tree in the north unless they came up with a hardy one. I grow them from seed to keep in my house but NO oranges. I was told in order to get the fruit , you have to start one from a piece taken from a tree that produces fruit. You never know they come up with new things all the time.

Only if you plant it in a pot and take it indoors in the winter.....many dwarf varities would work well for you...
