Nope! But then again, my son-un-law works for Apple, so he usually gets whatever is out ~ either for free or at a significant discount ~ because Apple wants its employees to be able to reflect and/or understand its customers' concerns and using the products is part of that.

So if/when he gets one, we'll be able to use it if we care to. Original or updated, makes no difference to me!

I would like to but it's not iin the budget and I can't justify it; too many gadgets and they are all working perfectly. I'm tempted, but it's not cheap -- and you'd need the cover too, which is sold separately.

I have ipad 1 but i have no plans for buying ipad2 cause now when android is in the market which far better thn iOS, even in the matter of apps android devices are more cool. Now hardware brand name doesnot make a huge difference, many manufacturing companies are producing very cool android devices including android tablet pc at cheap cost. I suggest others to do the same.
