I've picked all the "lumpy" pole beans...if I shell them, then dry them, will they be good to eat?

     Yes, you can eat it.  But when you're ready to cook it, soak the beans in water overnight.

Absolutely, you can cook your pole bean seeds, they are good as dessert mixed with milk or other ingredients to taste.

It's a nutritious food as snack items or simply as a dessert in your meals.
