What is the pH in 8 M of NaOH

The correct answer is
POH = -log [OH-]    {Reads, the POH [just as there is PH there is POH] equals the concentration {in moles per litter} of the OH- ions. 
POH = -log [4]
POH ~ 0.4     and thus the PH = 13.6        (they sum up to 14)
