I've always been an animal lover and have dogs to live long lives throughout the years..Our kids are grown and at the end of last year had a small mixed dog, a beautiful cocker spaniel and an African Grey parrot.  Unfortunately, my 4 year old cocker spaniel died unexpectedly 2 days before Christmas - We were so heartbroken...a couple of weeks ago we decided it was too lonely around here and got 2 cocker spaniel puppies, only going after 1, but whatever, we decided on 2, and we feel so blessed to have them here - our house has happiness in it again.  I still truly miss my Lucy who died but my heart if filling up again with these 2 new pups...I am thrilled about the dog who came home.....

Our dog is a HUGE part of our family and we would all be lost without him. He is a loyal and true friend, who is also good for a lot of laughs!! Any true dog lover knows what I'm talking about!! They are truly one of God's BEST inventions!!

I love both dogs and cats and have had both, but I feel like my dog has provided me with true unconditional love  -- she expects the minimum from me and provides the maximum at all times!

I cannot imagine a life without the companionship of a dog. My dog's unconditional love and the way he lives in the present, not worrying about the past or the future, is an inspiration.

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin

My dog is like a child an if anything would happen to her i would be heartbroken

Our little Penny is a recued dog from a pound.  She is 10, and we got her a year ago, right after my sweet baby of 13 years died and left us heartbroken.   We still had love to give, so being seniors ourselves, we adopted a senior.  She has been mistreated in the past, and it is such a pleasure to see her learning to trust us and know she is loved and will never be mistreated again.   We love her as an important member of our family.

We have 2 dogs and my entire family loves them like another member of the family. they have more faithful than many of the relatives I know!!! My older dog is very attached to me and i to her, I will be very upset when her times come. Dogs are a lot better than some people!! Maybe those people could take a lesson or two from these beautiful animals

We rescued our dog "Stanley".  Since he came into our lives, he has been a blessing.  He is like a child to me-he gives kisses and hugs.  He has such a wonderful personality.  He has shown us such unconditional love.  He truly is a remarkable addition to our family.  Most people tell me that he is very lucky to have had such a great family save him but we feel as though we are the lucky ones to have him in our lives.
