How often do you take your pets to the Vet? I take mine to the Vet every year for the annual check-up and shots. I know a lot of people that only take them when they are sick. I don't think you should have pets if you don't take care of them.

For cats, twice a year. If they get sick, it's off to see the doc. I love kitties.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

Correct you shouldn't have pets if you can't take care of them . It is irresponsible and in some cases illegal . Several states require one to vaccine dogs and cats against rabies . My cats and dogs go once a year for their shots and physicals . I have a dog whom has diabetes so he goes more often . I have always had my vet out for my horses and goats twice a year . Spring and Fall shots . I am lucky my vet does large and small animals . So when he's out for the horses he takes a look at the dogs and cats .

My cat is going to the Human Society this Tuesday, to get his shots and fixed. He's a lot bigger than in this pic of some 2 months ago, and he is a great cat. I love him, and he will get the best of care....Smile

About once or twice a year.  I have a tiger stripe , the larger version of Dave's kitty.
