i feel for you! i had 2 feral cats that were just barely walking actually still half creeping and just had opened their eyes and ears not long before they claimed me as their human. that was almost 1o years ago. they grew up into the best feline roommates ive ever had and even my hubbie who said "get rid of them" at first, fell in love with the 2 kittens. some rotten kids took them from their wild nest site and left them in the hot nanakuli hawaiian sun to die of thirst and exposure. alsso as they were feral they had conrracted ring worm on their bodies. well let me tll you the both of us had ring worm EVERYWHERE AND I DO mean everywhere for about 4 months!!! anyway we took them, had them tested for internal parasites as well as the con.tagious and the terminal feline illnesses such as feline leukemia  and feline AIDS commonly called FAIDS. they had a clean bill of health and what surprised me is the one who didnt want them actually fell in love with them and named them-ebony the black short haired wih big huge golden eyes and a female and her brother was named ivory and he looked just like a tokinese or balinese breed even though they were blood sister and brother. ebony weighs almost 17pounds and is a fat black bowling ball and her brother ivory weighs about 19 pounds or more and is long, heavy boned and lanky and can reach my chest when standing on his back legs. they became strictly indoor cats and have never in almost ten years had an accident outside the litter box!!! SORRY to go on and on about my cats when you are in need of such important information. you can call your local humane society and ask if there are any NON KILL shelters in your area or if there are any CAT RESCUE legues in the area which you live. theres usually something around. also you could see if the humane society knows of anyone that could foster the sweety until someo.ne can give it a forever home. if anything go on the internet and google non kill cat shelters in your area using your city and state or your zip code when googling non kill shelters. im saddened your husband isnt interested in being the human companion of this sweet little soul but when we marry we must keep our marital partners opinions and feelings in consideratjion. maybe if you could ask him to be patient as long as you are activly searching for a forever home or a foster home for the cat that would pacify him. you have to make effort though so as not to make your husband feel like you arent keeping his feelings and opinions in consideration. you never said where you lived as far as city and state or id have googled non kill shelters for you. well its late here on oahu so ive got to go but please let me know if my information has helped you in any way!!!! my email is silverswordsgamebirdfarm@gmail.com hope you have luck finding a forever home for your little friend!!!!
