any ideals for the fleas in the carpet and pet i am getting bit up everywhere from them i have tried the pills from the vet only worked for two days help itchy itchy momma lol
When I used the Borax, I left it down about 24 hours. But it sounds like your problem is outside and not inside. I am not sure what Borax will do to lawn or landscaping, but you could try a ring of it around your home. I'd suggest about a two foot wide ring. I know that's a lot of Borax, but it's the safest, quickest and most reliable product I have found.
You may also try calling a local exterminator (you may have to call more than one) and ask if they spray for fleas and what kind of product do they use. There are some natural products available to them that will dry up fleas, but are harmless to our pets.
hank you very much for the info, and will try the borax inside.
I use pet flea powder for my carpet , it works .Just sprincle on & leave it set for a few days & vacume away .
you can buy a laundry detergent booster called two mule borax, sprinkle it on your carpet and sweep it in with a broom lightly, after a few days vacuume the dead fleas. You can also use seven dust and do the same thing. Due to hatching eggs you may want to do this a few times a week for 2 weeks.
Try this:
Ingredients: Fresh lemon Water Instructions: To make a citrus flea and tick repellant, cut a fresh lemon into quarters and put it in a jug. Then pour boiling water and let it sleep overnight. Put the mixture to a spray bottle.
You should try Frontline plus. You can get it a lot cheaper at thriftyvet.com than petmeds.com.
you need to bomb your house with flea killer then give your pet a flea dip.
Have your rug professionally cleaned and use a flea bath on doggies.
