My dog brandy is a 5 year old staff bull terrier. She just isnt herself. Mooching up and down, no eating, hiding , sleeping all day. She rarely drinks and she's been messing on my carpet. Her faeces are a dull grey colour and i'm very worried my daughters dog is seriously ill..... What do you think is wrong with her...........Xoxo

Kel, If the dog is not eating or drinking, you should take it to a Vet, and pronto! Do not wait any longer and let the poor thing suffer like this. Never mind what the people on Yedda may think. We are not Vets. And this dog needs one now. So please go, like right now.

Yes, PLEASE get your dog to a VET ASAP. The listlessness and poor appetite are bad enough, but if she isn't drinking water and her feces is grey, there is something very wrong!! For the sake of your dog's welfare make an appt. right away in the morning and don't waste anymore time.

Kel , Take your dog to a Veterinarian immediately . Grey stool is usually associated with a liver problem . According to Purdue University this is common in some Terrier breeds . I have listed some other symptons , Please keep us updated .

The symptoms of liver disease include:
Weight loss
Lethargy and other behavioural changes
Loss of appetite
Pale gums
Jaundice
Distension of the abdomen due to an enlarged liver or ascites (fluid retention)
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Soft whitish and or grey stools
Seizures
