There are always different levels of care that may be beneficial. Crisis stabilization units are not 'hospitals', but a more homey atmosphere with round the clock professionals to help stabilize individuals who may have ongoing diagnoses'. Groups also would be an alternative, they are more enduring over time and may help with establishing a sense of inclusiveness without fear of abandonment. Good luck.
