Being Jewish, it is likely that he is dark brown.
JayR
Hi, -------------- Jews are not "dark brown" (as JayR wrote).... People living at the area Jesus lived (Galillee province) have white / brown colours (as most of the Mediterainen people are today [See: Greece, Italians, Spanish people, Israelies, etc......). In Isral there are some 325 sunny days that sure has some effect on the skin colour. ---------------- Best regards,
What ever color you want Him to be. After all, He is a spirit and took human form so He wouldn't scare people who saw Him. When ever we get to heaven maybe He will appear differently to each of us. The only reason it would matter would probably be to win an argument anyway, and I doubt He would honor that bet/argument.
Life is too short to waste time worrying about questions we can't answer while we are alive.

My desire is to learn from you and not to be argumentative.
I am aware that there are two major divisions of the Jewish population, the Sephardic and the Ashkenazic. I ran thru several sites on Google that noted that some of the Jewish population was rather dark. Some, as you said, were quite light.
Could you tell me more about this? Thank you.
Hi JayR,With pleasure: Yes you are right, there are Sephardic and Ashkenazic. Sepharad in Hebrew means "Spain" "Ashkenaz" is an ancient word for "Germany"..... These two groups had different habbits and traditions. So each group prefered to celebrate the Jewish festives in it's own traditional way. Some devide the Jewish people to "Eastern / oriental" (the Sepharadic) and "western / European" (the Ashkenazic). This two "groups" did NOT exist at Jesus time. And at that time I believe all Israelies had white / brown colours (as most of the Mediterainen people are today [See: Greece, Italians, Spanish people, Israelies, etc......). Just a coincident: I went today to Nazaret and took a visit to the annonciation church. Even not being a cristian I found it a very spiritual experience. I also went to Marry's spring (a small tiny river wher Mother Marry used to bath little Jesus)...... could almost hear his voice. Best regards,
Jesus was black and history and study proves it, but he presented to us as white for psychological resaon to show white supremacy. If Jesus is white, then so is God.Therefore whites are more devined than thou (non- whites)
If it doesn't matter what color he is , then why over 95% of your christian churches has some type of images of a white Jesus and the Bible itself describes what he looks like.

perhaps it is because that man tend to create GOD in his own image. In looking at your answers, I think that you are very angry about this. Would you consider discussing this here or privately?
Your Brother in Christ (regardless of His color)
