Jesus Christ is God The scriptures bear abundant testimony that Jesus Christ is God. Some liberal preacher will say to me, "You take the Bible literally. It's just myths." I answer, "Yes, I ...
That is a good question .To answer it truefully one must first decide which Jesus you are referring too .Jesus the Jewish man from Nazerene, who gave sight to the blind,or the one that the impostor Paul said blinded him on the road to Damascus , later to have scales would fall from his eyes.Jesus the Nazerene who said he was the son of God and the son of man.Was and still is many things to many people ,I think that was his plan.He gave us only two commandments.I speak only for the Gentiles who are not under the Law of Moses.First love your God with all your heart all your soul and all your mind. The second, love your neighbor. He used the Sammaritains to demonstrate this..Was Jesus the Nazerene God?Not to the Gentile. He was our brother our sister our mother and the light and path that will will someday take us to paradise where he is now..Not heaven ,Paradise there is a big difference. You have to be a Gentile to understand this. But if you want to call him God ,I'am sure he wouldn't mind...
noah, this is the Jesus Christ that I'm referring to.
What did Jesus Christ fulfill?
Matthew 5:17 [Jesus speaking] 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil . KJV
With the Advent of Messiah Jesus Christ several things were changed (fulfilled, better stated). First and most importantly, Christ became the punishment-paid for the sins of the believers. because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for our sins, we are not guilty of sin that we have repent of in Jesus Christ's name.
Not that God put away His law and allowed sin now—God forbid! But rather, it is mainly this: A sin is still a sin, and "For the wages of sin is death " (Rom 6:23a ) is still in full force, and all who sin shall face the Judgment; however, those (and only those) who believe upon Jesus Christ AND repent of their individual sins to God in Jesus' name receive forgiveness because Jesus already paid the price of death for that sin.
So, for the Christian believer who repents of any certain sin, that sin is blotted out—it is not to be found on the books on Judgment Day—it has already been adjudicated (settled).
We sin, and Jesus took the punishment—IF, and ONLY if—we believe upon Jesus Christ. For, how can we lay the punishment at the feet of Christ if we do not even believe upon Him? We cannot. One must believe to take part of the promise and blessing.
Belief is so very important to God—we must have faith. Why? Because: "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is , and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. " (Heb 11:6).
Romans 6:23 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. KJV 1 John 2:1 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous : KJV 1 Timothy 1:14 14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus . KJV Romans 6:1-6 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid . How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. KJV Plainly, and unapologetically that without Jesus Christ no man shall see paradise. For, "...all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God " (Rom 3:23), and "...the wages of sin is death " (Rom 6:23). 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them ; and hath [through Jesus Christ] committed unto us the word of reconciliation [forgiveness] . 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he [God] hath made him [Jesus] to be sin [the sin-punishment] for us [Christians] , [Jesus] who knew [committed] no sin; that we [Christians] might be made the righteousness [forgiven-blamelessness] of God in [through] him [Christ Jesus] . KJV Also, through Christ Jesus the Gentiles (non-Israelites) could also be adopted into the eternal covenant that was reserved for Israel. That is why the New Testament Scripture says: Galatians 3:28 28 There is neither Jew [Israelite] nor Greek [Gentile] , there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. KJV

You are correct my Brother. What is written should stand.Jesus the Nazerene did come as predicted by the phophets to fullfill their teachings.not to change the law of Moses which includes circumcism, not of the heart but of the penis.Noticed he did not treat circumcism as a frivilous symbol as the Impostor Paul has indicated .It was so important to Jesus the Jew that he and John the Baptist both were circumcised not as full grown men as timothy was circumcised by Paul the impostor but at the age of (8) days old.
When Jesus speaks to me from the scriptures ,he speaks to me as a Gentile.
That was another reason he came to earth first to fullfill the phophecies which he did.But also to tell the Gentiles of King Cyrus it's ok to be a Gentile.God annoited a Gentile long before he annioted his son.Look to Isaiah to see this.Jesus spent as much time withthe Gentile as he did the Jew,not to convert Gentiles but to let them know they were loved and forgiven. He personally offered them grace and salvation. The least thing he wanted them to do was to become Pauline Christians.Look to the Great Queen Candace of Ethiopia and you will see what the early Gentile thought of Christianity. To put it mildly she told them to "stuff it".She was whiter and brighter on the inside (her soul) than any of those so called men of God.The early Gentile kew Jesus quite well ,we hear his message loud and clear today. It simple tells us just as he told the woman at the well, just tell the truth about who you are..The institution of religion was created long after our Father,Brother,Mother,& Sister Jesus the Nazerene was in paradise where he awaits those who know him(see quantum entanglement). Those left were Jews Gods choosen people,The Romans & The Gentile..A simple definition of Gentile..is a member of a tribe or clan, nomadic type people"Inuits",Native Americans ,Slaves (non Christians) In the days of Jesus they were simply,Non Roman Citizens,or Jewish..Includes a lot f people ,don't you think?Peace my Brother..read the scriptures as a Gentile, before the cross..You may see two different Christs..
