A person not eating anything would live a short life.

Without food, you can last a while, 3 to 6 weeks. Without water, maybe 3 or 4 days.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

Without food you will be living on stored fat, and eventually muscles are broken down.  You will also be deficient in vitamins. You might be losing 2 pounds a week if you weigh 100.  You could last for months if you started at 150.

Hunger strikes have been known to last more than 7 weeks.
