next step is investors to produce your product... if you have the money to produce the product yourself and market it all well and good, if not you need investors or try to go on Shark Tank the TV show and make a pitch for your product and get one of the investors on your side??

Patents and trademarks

You can't patent a word, as far as I know, so the term "patent" can't be patented. It may be trademarked, but I don't know if it is. I don't know if the symbols are trademarked either, but my guess is that they are protected by a law , not a trademark. Interesting question!
