How do you make paper aeroplanes that fly really well?
There are lots of good designs for paper aeroplanes around. As a general rule you should make sure that the weight is concentrated at the front of the plane, make sure the wings are a V shape (a dihedral angle) and have a low center of gravity. This is complex to explain in text; however, you can find some good designs on various websites. For example paperaeroplanes.com
Paper airplanes are fun to fly. The Boeing Paper Airplane Contest every year is one of the greatest charity events you could imagine. One will pay $10.00 per throw to insert his paper airplane into the open sunroof of a new Porsche, from the nosebleed seats of Key Arena.
paper airplane makers from all over the world compete with several hundred planes each, not to win the car, but just for the bragging rights.
