Painting by Margot "Chrysanthemums"

I have a painting with a metal title on the frame.  It tag reads

"Chrysanthemums" Margot.  The painting is also signed Margot.  I am looking for any information about this painting or it's artist

I have the same painting. I believe my grandmother bought it during the depression. I am also looking for more information.

Thank you for your response.  I have the painting hanging in my greatroom and feel the shadows and lighting on the flowers in the painting, just grab me.

I was unsuccessful in trying to post a photo of the painting here but if you are able to do it, it would be fun to see if our painting are exactly the same.

Hello! My frame is different than the posted pic. My version came from Gold Bond stamp redemption.

I am posting again a picture of the painting. My mother-in-law has had this picture for at least 30 years.

I have the same painting, same frame, I got mine at Goodwill this year... I was looking for information on it because I was going to give a report on the artist at school.
