I am having lower left back pain that shoots into my leg causing numbness and also having a wrapping pain on right side from hip to pelvis in the front any suggestions?
Go see your doctor.
Greetings: I concur, see your family physician or a hospital immediately! The pain in the front right could be appendicitis, life threatening if it should rupture. Do not take chances with your health, have this looked into right away.
Be well, TWM
herniated disk
Many patients with back pain, leg pain, or weakness of the lower extremity muscles are diagnosed with a herniated disc. When a disc herniation occurs, the cushion that sits between the spinal vertebra is pushed outside its normal position. A herniated disc would not be a problem if it weren't for the spinal nerves that are very close to the edge of these spinal discs.
On the back pain that shoots into your leg, don't rule out sciatica. If it is, a good Chiropractic adjustment and visit to a Reflexologist will help.
May it from your kidney or just a muscle in your back. You should remember that kidney pain and back pain can have very similar symptoms but completely different cause. To help you determine it, pain from a kidney infection is usually presented as an ache and not necessarily a “pain”.
So it better to see your doctor as if you experiencing kidney infection, it is should not taken lightly.

Sounds like the Sciatic nerve might be inflamed. You need to have it checked out as it can become extremely painful if not treated with anti-inflammatories. As well a herniated disc or two can present with similar symptoms. Only an MRI can determine the exact cause.
