Bee like sting pain on the foot. Approx 3 times a ...

bee like sting pain on the foot. Approx 3 times a day I would get a sharp bee sting like pain that only last for a second on the top left of my foot near teh ankle. What is causing that? Very painful.

It sounds to me like you have a pinched nerve from somewhere, but we need so much more information to help you better and provide a more informative answer.

There is also a possibility that your shoe may not fit anymore. 

Example:  this could be caused from a previous injury or there is also such thing as referred pain from a back injury .  When I hurt my back, I had pain in my back him ad all the way down to the tops and bottoms of my feet--It was relieved for me when I had back surgery.

Have you had an ankle injury, back  injury  -- Do you sit on your feet at all?
