What is most important in the hospital bag?

when I go to the hospital for surgery or overnight or several nights I always pack the following items.  Three to four pajamas or nightgowns, several pairs of underwear, naturally a bathrobe, slippers, socks, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush.  I'd also like to have my favorite soap and of course my toiletries such as, perfume, bath powder and deodorant.  Two bath towels and washcloths as well as two hand towels. a good book to pass the time or perhaps a couple of magazines.  Now it's really up to every individual what you need or what you want to take with you, this is only a suggestion.
