Ovulation predictor kit

I bought an ovulation predictor kit, it had 20 tests in the package, i started testing when it said to do so, tests were negative for  a while, then one day it was positive for lh surge. so I figured i would use the rest of the strips since they cant be used after 30 days after opening the package. So, i continued to test daily, and my tests were positive for 6 days in a row, then finally negative again. Do you know why? I thought you were only supposed to surge for 2 days. What day did i probably ovulate?

The ovulation kit will show when the LH surge happens, which is just before ovulation, but you still have high levels of LH for a few days and then it drops.  It os perfectly normal the the tests were positive for 6 days in a row.  You peak fertility is still 36 hours after the LH surge, so you should have sex as much as possible for those 6 days from the surge.
