Discuss Jenny's answer to: Outrageous Wedding Themes

Some people have some outrageous weddings. Have you ever gone to a themed wedding? What did you think about the wedding? Would you have a themed wedding?

Hi, I wouldn't necessary say that there are outrageous theme weddings, but more of unique theme weddings. I know of a Nightmare Before Christmas theme wedding that I am helping on making right now, that is a full on production play in the beginning of the reception. They booked the venue at the Fox Event Center in downtown Redlands, California. Which is actually a very elegant theatre setting so it really fits the theme. We were really fortunate that a location like that is able to work with us on how we want the wedding to be done. They even have special effects, like we are using a low fog machine, spot lights, simulating snow, and just all around sound/lighting effects. Not only that this wedding is all customized, the Fox Event Center has a personal space ad in the front of their theatre and they were able to create a beautiful poster to go with the theme that included a replica of Tim Burton's handwriting style, bordering the poster shows the snake that eats up the toys, it's really crazy and it's something you'd have to see for yourself. I've actually made hand drawn envelopes with the theme on it, the countdown clock in the main lobby that says "Days Before Wedding" much like the "Day Before Xmas". Anyways, it's a real task but it's going to be an amazing wedding, themed and elegant, and the Fox Event Center real helps us out. I also know of a Sherlock Holmes theme wedding, so yes, I know some very unique weddings. Would I have one myself? Yes, I probably would...but it's so hard to choose a specific theme hahaha, at least for me that is. Themes in wedding helps give an idea of what you'd want the wedding and reception to be like, to me, it's like a guideline.
