Why does Outlook hang when trying to sync subscribed folders whne getting AOL mail

I have used Outlook to get my AOL mail and lately the program hangs when I try to get mail or just click on the AOL folder. Says error synchronizing subscribed folders. I have set up the account both automatically and manually as I have always done but error persists. If I go to webmail first and get any mail and then try Outlook again it does not hang.

Can you list the email account configuration settings you have set up within Outlook?
