Should all religions worldwide be banned and /or outlawed? I think it would solve a lot of problems if they were. You can believe anything you want, just don't take it punlic.
Should we remove all religion from the world? What could anyone prove by that?
I teach in a secular college, and hold online courses for budding authors. I help established authors color and clarify their work. I get as many manuscripts from Hindus as Christians as Muslims as Atheists. Forgive me that I have trouble reading Arabic. I tend to forward these mss to persons familiar with that language.
The only people who seem constantly angry are atheists. Everyone else writes in calm (if somewhat artificial) tones. The work of atheists concerning religion (any sort) always shows me what anger can do.
I'm afraid that I have come to distrust the findings of atheists. They tend to re-argue points that were earlier taken by the opposition (suitable cause to reject any manuscript).
Atheists cite non-existent "studies" to support their claims, and on due investigation (part of my job) these studies come back either cited incorrectly or are sheer confabulation.
Accuracy, full disclosure, balance, and integrity are the hallmarks of a professional author. I have seen so many one-sided papers by atheists that I have begun to question their ability to function in a free society.
I never tolerate bias, nor should you.
Outlaw Religion? The goverment keeps taking our rights away, they don't care a rats a-- about RELIGION, Yes I believe in GOD& JESUS CHRIST! & I believe the anti-christ is here now, among us. I know I SIN everyday, but I know if I ask for forgiveness HE will forgive me, GO & SIN NO MORE ,but as human's we do & will! Try to live each day as your last, try to let others see CHRIST in u & pray to always be willing& able to help others.
Betty, how refreshing to hear you as a person with concern for others. I have been studying about God's great love for us. You touch His heart with your concern for others. Blessings to you. Arron
Betty, what could you lose by living a life of honesty and decency? The only thing you could lose is a conscience that gives no one any peace. A clean conscience does not accuse us. That is not "the opiate of the masses" as atheists claim, but to the contrary, vibrant good health and full vitality!
Atheists have consciences that accuse them, until their conscience ceases to function entirely. When that happens, a person becomes completely amoral and could not care less who he destroyed or why.
One particalarly didactic volume I read recently was, "Good without God." It was without any doubt the most hateful and bitter tome of atheist reprobation I have ever seen. The very thought of what people might do in accordance with the leftist bias of that book is truly frightening because it includes calls to,
"Stamp out all those religious nuts any way that you must! Remember that all religious nuts are out to get you so you must get them first! Until those religious nuts are all safely in the grave then no one can be safe. That is how evil and violent religion is . . .." He goes on and on like that, calling on more violence page after page.
Is that the work of a sane mind, or a reprobate who has gone mad from a conscience that gives him no peace at all?
