Can you have lighting in your patio provided by the electric company? I am interested in having a pole with light in the backyard so we can continue the party after sunset. Is this going to add too much money to my electric bill?

If you have to call the electric company to install a pole and light, it can be quite pricey. A great alternative for you would be post style patio lanterns. Oil burning lanterns and solar lights will both be options that would save you the electricity cost.

Why don't approach an electric company in your area and ask some advice regarding such matter.
